Life3R’s expansion to other European Union (EU) countries continues apace. We are pleased to announce Life3R’s launch in Hungary, the platform’s third market. Life3R creates the first circular economy for used F-gases, where used F-gases are viewed as reusable resources. Life3R establishes a transparent and competitive trading platform for the buying and selling of used F-gases, and is now available in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Closing the loop in the circular economy through the correct recovery, reclamation and re-use of F-gases is critical to meet environmental obligations. Life3R’s swift adoption in Hungary demonstrates the industry’s commitment to Europe’s ‘Green Deal’.
The continued European rollout of Life3R enables used F-gases to be captured in the market, saved from disposal and returned to use as recycled or reclaimed gases. Life3R plans to expand to other countries throughout 2021, funded and supported by the LIFE Programme of the European Union under grant agreement ‘LIFE19 CCM/AT 001226 – LIFE3R’. Life3R’s flourishing circular economy of used refrigerants enhances EU competitiveness and increases the life standards of EU citizens.
